I built this because I was tired of yelling at my laptop.
I'm a CS student at BU. I vibecode with Claude Code four hours a day. Half the time I'm in my dorm, half the time I'm in the library, and a lot of the time I'm just trying not to wake up my roommate.
Every mic I tried either picked up too much of the room, died after six hours, or cost more than my month's groceries. So I worked with my dad, who runs a Dallas-based e-commerce company that ships hardware from a New Jersey warehouse, and we made the mic I wanted.
Yini is the first thing we shipped. v2 is already in the works. If you buy one, you're part of that.
